The 2026 Stars on Ice tour highlights highly accomplished skaters and showcases their athletic talents paired with theatrical production
Bundle up for a spine-chilling event at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum this spring, featuring 2026 Winter Olympic champion Alysa Liu.
Headlining the 2026 Stars on Ice tour is Olympic champion and Olympic team gold medalist Alysa Liu, the reigning world champion and two-time U.S. champion, whose historic comeback culminated in the first U.S. women’s Olympic gold since 2002.
Stars on Ice will land in Portland on Sunday, May 24, offering guests a taste of the wondrous world of figure skating.
The “prototype” for what would become the Stars on Ice shows started in 1986 as Olympic champion Scott Hamilton and his manager, Robert D. Kain, started the idea after Hamilton’s contract with Ice Capades was not renewed, according to the event website. Hamilton first launched his America Tour in five cities before, that same year, Kain suggested a name change to Stars on Ice.
In past years, shows have featured co-headliners such as Jo Jo Starbuck and Ken Shelley, Brian Orser, Kurt Browning, Paul Wylie, Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean, Kristi Yamaguchi, Ekaterina Gordeeva and Sergei Grinkov, Tara Lipinski — among dozens more.
Stars on Ice has hosted thousands of performances and regularly travels to Canada, Japan, China, Korea and Europe.
This year’s featured skaters include Alysa Liu, Madison Chock and Evan Bates, Ilia Malinin, Amber Glenn, Ellie Jam and Danny O’Shea, Isabeau Levito, Jason Brown, with more to be announced soon.
Spanning 28 cities across the country, 2026 Stars on Ice kicks off in Fort Meyers, Florida, and ends a week after its stop in Portland in Southaven, Mississippi.
