September 11, 1942 – December 18, 2024 – Jim Klock, 82, passed on December 18, 2024 surrounded by his family. Jim was born in Vinton, Louisiana and raised by his parents William and Cassie Klock.

His family settled in Portland, Oregon and he graduated from Franklin High School. His career began in 1963 with the Local 36 Heat and Frost Insulators Union. In 1970 he moved to Gresham where he raised 3 daughters. The family enjoyed camping, hunting, and hosting family events.

He retired in 1997 and began volunteering in his community and found his passion for classic cars. He was a longtime member of Rt 26 Cruisers of Sandy, Or. He served on many projects involving youth, and was awarded Citizen of the Year by the City of Gresham.

Surviving Jim are his wife, Susan of Boring; brother William; his 3 daughters, Kim, Karri, and Kathi; 5 Grandchildren, Shannon, Kyle, Katrina, Stephanie and Reilly; 7 Great-grandchildren; a stepson; and many extended family.

A private interment was held at Forest Lawn Cemetery.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, February 23, 2025 at 1:00PM at the Gresham Elks 3330 NE Division, Gresham Or 97030.
