The development — which is located on six acres at Kruse Way and Boones Ferry Road — consists of 206 apartments, parking and 49,000 square feet of retail space.
The development team, led by High Street Residential, confirmed six new restaurants — each business are members of the ChefStable restaurant group — set to open this spring: Fills Donuts, Grassa, Lardo, Oven and Shaker, St. Jack and Tasty. Other businesses that have signed on, according to a press release sent Jan. 26, include Clean Juice, CVS, Max Nails Nail Salon, Orangetheory Fitness and Ovation Coffee & Tea.
“It is good to be talking about opening places rather than closing them. This past year has taken a massive toll on our industry and it is exciting to see the light at the end of the tunnel,” said Kurt Huffman, owner of ChefStable, in a press release sent Jan. 26. “It feels almost symbolic that we’re opening as a community of chefs within the communities of Lake Oswego and Lake Grove and doing it with a shared vision of creating an indoor and outdoor dining experience that will be unique to Oregon. We have been in this battle all year together fighting for our industry so it means a lot to all of us that we reopen together.”

The development will boast 5,000 square-feet of outdoor dining space and the apartments will feature four “neighborhoods” per floor. There will be an on-site parking garage for residents and “an impressive resident-only amenity collection, which includes a spa and sauna, a ‘swap-and-share’ pantry, multiple lounges, adult crafting room and children’s playhouse, co-working space and private meeting rooms, an arcade and game room, a pet spa, a state-of-the-art fitness center, and an outdoor pool,” the press release read.
A new spring Farmers Market plans to open in Lake Grove Sunday, March 7, and will be open every Sunday on Hallmark Drive near the Mercato Grove property through April 25, from 1-5 p.m.
It will “blend local food culture with a mission to provide access to local sustainable and equitable foods,” the press release read. “Guests can expect a variety of fresh produce, meats, artisan baked goods, handcrafted products, and a rotating ChefStable food offering.”
Mercato Grove also features a domestic duck habitat and two pieces of public art.
“We believe in creating a place, an experience unlike anything else we’ve seen in the Portland metro area,” said Damin Tarlow, lead project developer at High Street Residential, in the press release. “From the exquisite design and amenities of the apartments, to the thought and care that went into choosing our sought-after retailers and restaurateurs, Mercato Grove is poised to be the new epicenter of Lake Oswego.”
