Portland prep hoops Dec. 20: Cleveland, McDaniel and Parkrose boys pick up wins

Some of Portland’s best took on some tough tests Friday, Dec. 20, falling in a couple while others picked up wins.

The headline of the night was a top-10 matchup between No. 8 Grant and No. 2 Barlow where the Bruins pulled out a 77-71 win despite a strong shooting night from the Generals.

Speaking of strong shooting, Portland Christian’s Keylon Kittleson hit five 3-pointers en route to 23 points and a Royals win. His teammate Sam Fundak also crossed over 1,000 career points.

The Benson girls got a strong win over Nelson while Ida B. Wells moved to 3-0 at the Nike Tournament of Champions in Arizona.
