The Oregon Entrepreneurs Network has moved into the offices of the Portland Business Alliance in the downtown World Trade Center. The OEN first partnered with the PBA in the 1990s when it was known as the Portland Chamber of Commerce. OEN staff has been working remotely since 2020.

“OEN is thrilled to have a physical presence again in downtown Portland. It is especially exciting to be sharing space with the Portland Business Alliance as all the organizations are focused on the vibrancy of the city,” OEN President & Executive Director Cara Turano said at the grand opening held on Thursday, Jan. 4, at 121 S.W. Salmon St.

OEN has been helping entrepreneurs with funding, training, connecting and networking for more than two decades. A nonprofit, membership-driven organization with a 28-year track record, OEN is Oregon’s only organization that supports scalable startups from every industry across the state, the announcement said.

“OEN will be joining the Alliance’s family of affiliates focused on re-energizing our downtown core and we are truly honored to have them,” says Andrew Hoan, President & CEO of the Portland Metro Chamber. “OEN brings even more diverse members and events to the World Trade Center and center city. The synergies between the Chamber’s 2,300 members around the region combined with the spark of entrepreneurial enthusiasm of OEN will create endless opportunities to collaborate to the mutual benefit of shared prosperity for our stakeholders and region.”

The PBA is an affiliation of three closely related corporate entities, including the Portland Metro Chamber, Downtown Portland Clean & Safe, and the Charitable Institute that share a collective mission, vision and values. The chamber is the leading voice for business in the Portland region and advocates for business at all levels of government to support commerce, community health and vibrancy, and the region’s overall prosperity.
