Business News Update: Dr. Myles Knutson – Willamette Foot and Ankle

With 11 years’ experience in the podiatry world, including 3 years in practice, Dr. Myles Knutson has decided to plant permanent roots in Lake Oswego with Willamette Foot and Ankle. “I’m from a small town and my wife is from Seattle, so Lake Oswego is a perfect fit for us both,” he said. “We are near Portland and love the welcoming community of Lake Oswego which has that small-town feel. We are so excited to be a part of the community and look forward to getting involved.”

Dr. Knutson received his Doctorate from the California School of Podiatric Medicine and completed his surgical residency training in the Kaiser Permanente San Francisco Bay Area Foot and Ankle Residency Program. There, he received comprehensive training in foot and ankle surgery and podiatric medicine. Today, he treats all foot and ankle ailments and is interested in foot and ankle trauma, forefoot and rearfoot reconstruction, sports medicine, ankle joint arthritis, and wound care and limb salvage.

Valuing clear communication with his patients throughout their treatment process, Dr. Knutson’s goal is to help his patients understand their foot and ankle ailments and work with them to achieve their treatment goals. He approaches the management of any condition by applying evidence-based medicine and a conscientious patient-doctor team approach to the treatment plan.

When not healing feet and ankles, Dr. Knutson loves spending time with his wife and three young children, and adventuring outside to run, bike, ski, and climb.
