Grab a skewer stacked with olives, cheese, berries, peperoncini and more, and buckle up for the Bloody Mary Festival returning to Portland soon.

From 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 7, at The Redd on Salmon, 831 S.E. Salmon St., guests can participate in the largest event of its kind, celebrating the beloved brunchtime drink.

“This annual event brings together the city’s top bars, restaurants and craft mixologists to showcase their unique Bloody Mary recipes,” Evan Weiss, the festival organizer, said in a news release. “Not only is it a Bloody Mary contest, it’s a celebration of small local businesses.”

Benefitting the St. Johns Food Share, bars and restaurants that serve the best Bloody Mary mixes around Portland will come together for a date of sipping. Attendees can try them all before voting for a favorite and helping crown the “People’s Choice Award,” for the best Blood Mary in the city.

A panel of judges will vote for the “Best Bloody Mary in Portland,” crowning one Portland place with the title of best of the best in the city.

Now in its 12th year, the nationally acclaimed event with travel to five cities in 2025. The Redd on Salmon hosted this event in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2022, 2023 and 2024.

Tickets to the event give access to unlimited Bloody Marys, food and beverage tastings, temporary tattoos, photo ops and one vote for the “People’s Choice Award.”
