The Seattle Mariners have won 20 of the past 25 games, have reached 20 games over .500 (44-24) and sit atop the American League West Division.

But, things might get a little tougher in the next two weeks.
The Mariners face Boston in a four-game series at Safeco Field, starting at 7 p.m. Thursday, with Felix Hernandez (6-5) pitching opposite David Price (7-4).
Then, Seattle goes on the road three games at New York, three at Boston and four at Baltimore.

Seattle beat the Los Angeles Angels, completing a three-game sweep Wednesday, when Mitch Haniger hit a two-run homer in the bottom of the ninth inning for an 8-6 win at Safeco Field.
The Mariners rallied from 6-4 down. Jean Segura hit a seventh-inning RBI double and Ryon Healy hit a solo home run in the eighth inning to set up the dramatic ninth.
Haniger’s homer off Oliver Drake was the Mariners’ 10th in the three-game series. Nelson Cruz also homered Wednesday.
Seattle led 4-1 early, before the Angels (37-32) rallied. Chris Young and Nick Fontana hit home runs.
The teams combined for 17 home runs in the three-game series.
Segura and Healy had three hits each.
As well as Seattle is playing, Houston is right behind the Mariners in the standings, sporting a seven-game winning streak. The Astros beat Oakland, 13-5, on Wednesday to improve to 44-25, a half-game back of the M’s.
