Woman injured by hit-and-run driver

A woman crossing Northeast Glisan Street was injured Monday evening when she was struck by a hit-and-run driver.

Police said the woman was struck at about 7:18 p.m. near Northeast 60th Avenue and Glisan Street. The woman suffered what police said were traumatic but non-life threatening injuries. She was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Witnesses gave police a description of the vehicle possibly involved in the accident and it was discovered parked in the neighborhood. No arrests have been made.
