The new Sentra edition rides on 18-inch NISMO 10-spoke aluminum-alloy wheels mounted with specially selected 215/45R18 Michelin Pilot Sport all-season tires. Ride height has been reduced by 0.4-inches, and the package includes a 4-wheel disc brake system with 11.7-inch vented front discs and 11.5-inch solid rear discs.
The car’s body structure has been stiffened for sports driving with a number of reinforcements. The cowl is thicker and vehicle floor and rear parcel shelf are reinforced to stiffen the body structure, improving responsiveness to steering inputs.
The Sentra NISMO is powered by a new 1.6-liter direct-injected and turbocharged engine, rated at 188 horsepower and 177 lb-ft of torque. The engine is matched with the buyer’s choice of a tuned 6-speed manual transmission or an advanced, tuned Xtronic continuously variable transmission.

This Sentra is offered in just four exterior colors — Brilliant Silver, Gun Metallic, Super Black and Aspen White. The vehicle is assembled in Aguascalientes, Mexico, with the engine imported from Yokohama, Japan. Nissan announced the pricing as “under $25,000.”
