Caregiver group shares common concerns

Are you lost and confused when it comes to finding resources for caregiving? Do you have questions for which you just can’t seem to find answers?

Ruth Cohen, a longtime geriatric care manager and a resident of Lake Oswego, leads a Family Caregiver Discussion Group. Come and hear others' experiences and challenges, learn about community resources and develop skills to care for your loved one. Find tricks of the trade that will help you be less stressed and refreshed for your caregiving role. You are not alone, and this group will help give support and resources.

The group meets every fourth Wednesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Lake Oswego Adult Community Center, 505 G Ave., Lake Oswego, telephone 503-635-3758. No registration is required, and it's open to all ages.

Save the date of May 28 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for National Senior Health and Fitness Day. We will have vendors, demonstrations and lots of opportunities to learn about health and fitness for seniors.
