IRCO Diabetes Support Group — Mondays, Aug. 4 and 18, 1-2:30 p.m. Join others age 60 and older with Type 2 diabetes for informal meetings. Led by a registered nurse. Free.

IRCO Foot Care Clinic — Mondays and Thursdays; call for appointment. Nurse-run clinic includes foot soak, toe nail trim and file, foot massage, callus and corn sanding/smoothing, and reduction of thick fungal nails. Cost is $35; must bring own tub and towels.

IRCO SHIBA Program — Every Wednesday and Thursday of each month, 9 a.m. to noon. Call for an appointment. The Senior Health Insurance Benefits Assistance (SHIBA) Program uses trained volunteers to help people with Medicare make health insurance decisions. SHIBA volunteers can help you select a Medicare prescription drug plan, compare supplemental health insurance policies, evaluate your need for long-term care insurance, and file an appeal or insurance complaint.

IRCO Senior Law Project — Thursday afternoons; call for an appointment. Program offers seniors the opportunity to get free legal advice from volunteer attorneys in 30-minute sessions. You must be age 60 or older or married to someone who is 60 or older; be a resident of Multnomah County or have a legal issue in Multnomah County; and be a U.S. citizen or legal resident.
