Bryan Dolores-Cruz, who turned 8 on Tuesday, fulfilled his wish of becoming “Ben 10,” his cartoon hero, and vanquishing aliens from Earth during a laser tag party at the Laserport, 6540 S.W. Fallbrook Place, in Beaverton. by: TIMES PHOTO: JONATHAN HOUSE - An artist was on hand to give temporary 'Ben 10' tattoos during Bryan Dolores-Cruzs Make-A-Wish party at Laserport.

The Hillsboro resident and a group of about 25 friends and family battled it out with volunteers from Make-A-Wish Oregon during an alien infestation at the center on Saturday morning and early afternoon.

The recovering leukemia patient used his newly found superpowers from a watch-like device called the “Omnitrix,” which allows him to transform into various alien creatures.

It was agreed that whichever of the two teams lost would leave Earth peacefully. In two rounds of laser tag, Bryan and his friends beat out the aliens, who were dressed as winged lizards and furry beasts with horns.

Bryan is recovering from acute lymphoblastic leukemia, in which immature white blood cells continuously multiply and are overproduced in the bone marrow.
