Beaverton Police make an arrest after the body of Sara Zghoul, 28, of Aloha, was discovered Jan. 25.

An Aloha man is in custody after the body of a 28-year-old woman was found Thursday inside a vehicle.

The inter-agency Washington County Major Crimes Team received information regarding a possible homicide, in which the victim's body had been left inside a vehicle. Detectives searched a neighborhood in Aloha and found the vehicle on a residential street near the intersection of Southwest Sarala Street and Hargis Road.

Detectives obtained a warrant to search the vehicle. Late Thursday, Jan. 25, they recovered the body of an adult female from inside. She has been identified as Sara Zghoul, 28, of Aloha.

Detectives identified a suspect. Shortly after 11 p.m. Thursday, Beaverton Police officers located the suspect near Southwest Murray and Teal boulevards and took him into custody.

His identity has not been released to media.

The Washington County District Attorney's Office, Washington County Medical Examiner and forensics technicians from the Sheriff's Office Forensic Science Unit are assisting detectives in the investigation.
