BEAVERTON POLICE

Sunday, June 3

• A Beaverton man was arrested on charges of drunken driving and reckless driving at a stop at Southwest 125th Avenue and Scholls Ferry Road.

• A woman was robbed of her purse, contents valued at $500, after she played video poker and left a business in the 6000 block of Southwest Murray Boulevard. Her head struck the ground during the struggle for the purse.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on charges of drunken driving, reckless driving and third-degree assault after he crashed into someone else at Southwest Tualatin Valley Highway and 153rd Drive. The other driver was taken to the hospital.

• A Portland man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving and fourth-degree assault after he was told to leave a business in the 4000 block of Southwest Western Avenue. He head-butted the owner and caused a nose bleed, then drove away, parked across the street and chased a security guard on foot.

• A Portland man was arrested on multiple charges, including two counts of assaulting police officers and possession of heroin, in connection with a theft at a business in the 11000 block of Southwest Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway.

Monday, June 4

• A Hillsboro woman and a Portland man were arrested on several charges, including felony possession of methamphetamine, after a domestic disturbance call in the 11000 block of Southwest Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway.

• A purse and sports equipment were reported stolen when someone broke a vehicle window in the 11000 block of Southwest Murray Scholls Place.

• A backpack containing a wallet was reported stolen when someone broke a driver's-side window of a vehicle at Southwest Scholls Ferry Road and Murray Boulevard.

Tuesday, June 5

• A Portland man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving in the 13000 block of Northwest Mill Creek Drive.

• Items valued at more than $1,000, including jewelry and recordings, were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in a parking lot in the 3000 block of Southwest Murray Boulevard.

• A Portland woman was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence of controlled substances when she stepped out of her car and danced in traffic, while her car rolled backward and struck a TriMet bus near Northwest Cedar Hills Boulevard and Leahy Road.

• A purse was reported stolen from a trunk of a vehicle parked at Tualatin Hills Nature Park in the 15000 block of Southwest Millikan Way. Someone broke a window to gain access to the trunk release while the victim was on a hike.

• A Gresham man was arrested on a charge of failure to perform the duties of a driver involved in a crash at Sunset Highway and Northwest Bethany Boulevard. He and another driver tried to occupy the same space in the same lane at the same time, "which does not work well," according to the police report.

• A blue Diamondback road bicycle valued at $2,000, an Xbox and a Wii were reported stolen from a garage in the 1200 block of Southwest Kiley Way.

Wednesday, June 6

• A Portland man was arrested on charges of unlawful possession of a concealed handgun and misdemeanor possession of methamphetamine at Northwest 185th Avenue and Cornell Road.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence of controlled substances at Southwest Tualatin Valley Highway and Murray Boulevard.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on charges of drunken driving, reckless driving and reckless endangerment of another person at Southwest Canyon Road and Watson Avenue.

• A GPS and power tool were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 1100 block of Southwest Kiley Way.

• A Hillsboro woman was arrested on charges of driving under the influence of controlled substances and felony possession of heroin and methamphetamine at West Baseline Road and Southwest 179th Avenue after she left a residence, ran a stop sign and drove on the sidewalk.

• Two 2018 cars, no other description available, were reported stolen from a business in the 4000 block of Southwest 139th Way. Keys were in locked boxes on the vehicle windows.

• A bicycle valued at $1,200 was reported stolen from a driveway in the 12000 block of Southwest Sheldrake Way.

• A gray Diamondback 24-speed bicycle valued at $500 was reported stolen near the Beaverton City Library, 12375 S.W. 5th St.

Thursday, June 7

• A West Linn man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving on Highway 217 southbound near Southwest Greenburg Road.

• A tanker truck bearing the words "Coast Pavement Services" was reported stolen from a parking lot in the 8000 block of Southwest Cascade Avenue.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on multiple charges, including identity theft and tampering with a drug record, in the 10000 block of Southwest Allen Boulevard.

• A gray-and-green Fuji Silhouette bicycle valued at $600 was reported stolen in the 8000 block of Southwest Hall Boulevard.

• A bicycle valued at $400 was reported stolen in the 4500 block of Southwest Angel Avenue when someone cut the lock.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving at Southwest Barnes Road and Cedar Hills Boulevard.

Friday, June 8

• A nail gun valued at $1,200 was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 10000 block of Southwest Allen Boulevard.

• A GPS was reported stolen when someone broke a window of a vehicle in the 3000 block of Southwest 153rd Drive.

• A transient man was arrested on several charges, including offensive littering and misdemeanor possession of methamphetamine, at a makeshift camp on utility property at the northbound on-ramp from Southwest Denney Road onto Highway 217.

• A transient man was arrested on charges of offensive littering and criminal trespass at two locations, including the 6000 block of Southwest 110th Court.

• Items valued at $3,100 were reported stolen from an apartment in the 14000 block of Southwest Teal Boulevard.

• A vehicle parked overnight was reported stolen from the 8000 block of Southwest Hall Boulevard.

• A Portland man and woman were arrested on charges of identity theft — and the man on distribution of methamphetamine and the woman on felony possession of the drug and unauthorized use of a vehicle — at a business in the 9000 block of Southwest Cascade Avenue.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on charges of felony possession of methamphetamine and being a felon in possession of a restricted weapon after he was found passed out at the Beaverton Transit Center.

• A Tualatin man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving, with two previous convictions, at Southwest Alexander Street and 174th Avenue.

Saturday, June 9

• A Beaverton man was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and menacing after banging on the door of a complex in the 800 block of Southwest 158th Avenue and threatening residents. Earlier, he brandished a knife against someone he accused of stealing another knife from him.

• A bicycle and other items were reported stolen from a garage in the 1200 block of Southwest Kiley Way.

• A Hillsboro man was arrested on a charge of theft in connection with a tool valued at $299 and taken from a business in the 4000 block of Southwest 110th Avenue.

• A lawnmower and other items were reported stolen from a garage in the 1100 block of Southwest Kiley Way.

• A Beaverton man and a Fresno, Calif., man were arrested on charges of theft in connection with items valued at $932 from a business in the 11000 block of Southwest Canyon Road.

• A Portland man was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and criminal mischief in connection with a fight at Southwest Center Street and Lombard Avenue.

• Clothes and firearm accessories valued at $250 were reported stolen when someone broke a vehicle window in the 11000 block of Southwest Murray Scholls Place.

• Clothes valued at $170 were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 9000 block of Southwest Cascade Avenue.

Sunday, June 10

• A Ridgecrest, Calif., man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving after he left a party, lost his way and ended up in a parking lot in the 8000 block of Southwest Hall Boulevard.

• Electronic equipment valued at $2,000 was reported stolen from a home in the 5000 block of Southwest Erickson Avenue when the victim let a friend of a friend stay over, then asked her to leave.

• A car, no other description available, was reported stolen near the Beaverton City Library, 12375 S.W. 5th St.

TIGARD POLICE

Over the last week, Tigard police reported the following incidents: Resisting Arrest – 1, DUIIs – 5, Warrants – 8, Assaults – 2, Theft – 1, Interfering With a Public Safety Officer – 1 and Criminal Trespass – 1.

Tuesday, June 5

• Someone called to report a bicycle stolen from the stairwell at a complex in the 16100 block of 108th Avenue.

• An onsite manager reported the theft of a concrete mixing machine and tools over the weekend along with laundry machine money boxes having been drilled out and coins stolen in the 11500 block of 88th Avenue.

• A resident called to report a man "doing crack" in the backyard of a resident in the 15200 block of Harveys View Avenue.

• A Tigard resident reported an online dating scam where he met a woman who said she was a soldier. They "clicked" and the man gave her Amazon gift cards to continue to connect with her as well as extensive personal information.

Wednesday, June 6

• The manager of a business in the 14300 block of Pacific Highway reported that someone had destroyed a dumpster and spread trash along the back of his business.

• A rental company in the 13700 block of Pacific Highway reported that a car had not been returned and presumed it was stolen.

• Someone reported that a man and woman were doing drugs outside of a restaurant in the 12000 block of Scholls Ferry Road.

• A rider on a Trimet bus in the 8900 block of Commercial Street was heard asking children inappropriate questions and threatened to shoot those on the vehicle. The man, believed to be a transient, was last seen walking down the street waving his arms into the air.

• A suspicious man was reported continually showing up at a business in the 10200 block of Greenburg Road, making unwanted deliveries of flowers and cupcakes (along with a 2-page note) to a female employee.

• A guest at a hotel in the 15600 block of Sequoia Parkway used a stolen credit card at the business.

• Over the weekend it appears someone tried to start a fire in the covered area of a school in the 10300 block of Lincoln Street.

• A burglary was reported in the 14500 block of Hall Boulevard after someone broke into a backyard patio and stole some items.

Thursday, June 7

• A man and a woman, possibly on drugs, were reported yelling at an imaginary person in the parking lot in the 7500 block of Dartmouth Street.

Friday, June 8

• A transient was reported sleeping behind a business in the 11900 block of Pacific Highway.

• A resident in the 11400 block of Winterlake Drive reported seeing a 3-foot alligator under the east bridge. She suggested that this might be the reason people have been noticing birds floating then disappearing again.

• Someone called to report a possible drunken driver southbound on Highway 99W at Beef Bend Road, who at times was seen driving on the sidewalk, his head bobbing all over the place.

Saturday, June 9

• Since a resident knows drug dealers leave their "stash" in bushes along Commercial Street, she took a photo of a man digging into a bush. When the man saw the woman snapping photos, he ran towards the bus stop.

• A resident in the 14600 block of 83rd Court reported a case of fraud after receiving a package with her maiden name that contained an iPhone she hadn't ordered.

Sunday, June 10

• The theft of 10 cases of beer was reported from a store in the 7500 block of Dartmouth Street.

• Someone reported that a sofa had been left on a sidewalk in the 11100 block of 125tth Place for the last three days.

• A case of road rage was reported at Highway 217 and the Pacific Highway ramp after a vehicle was involved in a cash and the driver of the other vehicle got out with a stick.

TUALATIN POLICE

From June 5 to June 11, Tualatin police responded to 598 calls for service, responded to 31 traffic crashes and made 11 total arrests.

Tuesday, June 5

• A 53-year-old Wilsonville woman was arrested for stealing money from two different victims at Bridgeport Road yoga center.

• Someone forged Coinstar (a kiosk where coins are turned into cash) receipts at the Tualatin Fred Meyer, getting away with $1,319.

• A victim in the 22900 block of Cowlitz Drive reported that someone removed a bike from her garage. However, the bike was returned a short time later.

Wednesday, June 6

• Recreation and sports equipment as well as musical instruments totaling $3,392 were stolen from the Tualatin Country Club.

• A 35-year-old Tualatin man was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

• Someone stole two Amazon packages from a porch in Tualatin in the 17700 block of Chippewa Trail. The packages contained three children's umbrellas.

Thursday, June 7

• A 21-year-old Tualatin man was arrested on a probation violation in the 27400 block of Copper Creek Loop.

• A 29-year-old Crooked River Ranch man was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant in the 19200 block of Boones Ferry Road.

• A 21-year-old transient was arrested on a probation violation detainer in the 20400 block of Martinazzi Avenue. He was also discovered to be in possession of meth.

Friday, June 8

• Someone stole bicycles and electronic equipment valued at $17,900 from a victim on Lower Boones Ferry Road.

• A 26-year-old man was arrested for shoplifting clothes and tools from the Tualatin Fred Meyer.

Saturday, June 9

• Someone used a victim's stolen credit card to make a $2,958 purchase at the Apple store at Bridgeport Village.

Sunday, June 10

• A 41-year-old Salem woman was arrested for an outstanding warrant in the 19300 block of 65th Avenue.

• Someone stole an Apple watch valued at $649 from the Apple store at Bridgeport Village.
