Recurring snow showers brought from eight to 10 inches of snow to the area through Saturday, grinding most of the city to a halt. By Monday, the temperatures had warmed and the rains were falling, washing away much of this year’s winter blast. Police and fire agencies reported minimal issues with the weather. From left, Will Ash, Noah Walker, Isaac Shrier, Haley Beck and Rosiee Barigan put the finishing touches on their eight-foot snowman. Sixty-five-year-old Irene Shrier heads down the hill for a short run after getting a push from a brave gentleman in shorts.
