Crook County Foundation looking for sponsors for Picnic in the Park concert series

What’s Brewing? This week’s community forum will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 12 from 7 to 8 a.m. at Meadow Lakes Restaurant. This week’s speaker will be Carol Benkosky, BLM. Sage Grouse draft EIS (Environmental Impact Statement) Public comment open until February 22. The community forum is free and open to the public, breakfast is available.

Dr. Coby Hanes recently completed a comprehensive certification seminar on Mastering Brain Chemistry. The seminar focused on the latest research on brain chemistry, early detection of brain degeneration, and strategies to optimize brain function. Dr. Hanes will be holding a free presentation on Thursday, Feb. 27 that is open to anyone to attend. For more information call 541-447-7230.

The Chamber After Hours will be held at the Prineville Soroptimists on Thursday, Feb. 13 at 180 N.E. Belknap St from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

Kiwanis SEE’s Candy Trailer is now open for your last minute Valentine’s gift giving at Hans’ Pharmacy parking lot. They will be open every day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Slater Chiropractic will be collecting donations through Feb. 28 and would like to challenge other businesses in Crook County to hold a food drive to benefit the new Craig’s Compassionate Café (formerly the Oasis).
