The Beaverton Ringor baseball team finished second in the Amateur Athletic Union 19U World Series in Vacaville, Calif. Ringor, the third seed, lost 6-4 in Thursday's final to the No. 4 Sonoma (Calif.) Vikings. Ringor went 6-2 in the tournament to end its season 42-16.

En route to the championship game, Ringor knocked off No. 2-seeded Los Angeles All Sports 14-3, getting a 4-for-4, four-RBI performance from Colin Clark.

'We crushed the ball in the final, too, but they just didn't have eyes for us,' says coach Len Clarke.
