Former Troutdale resident Korey James Kerslake, 29, died in an automobile accident Friday, July 21, in California. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 29, at Gresham Funeral Chapel, 257 S.E. Roberts Ave.

Korey was born Feb. 26, 1977, in Portland to James and Karen Kerslake. He was raised and educated in Fairview and graduated from Reynolds High School in 1995.

On May 9, 1998, Korey married Jessie Presby in Corbett. They later divorced. On March 31, 2006, he married Amy Porter in Portland.

Korey worked for WPI Construction. He moved to California in 2006.

He enjoyed spending time with his family, riding his trick bike and fishing.

Survivors include his wife of Portland; sons, Andrew 'Drew' Kerslake of Gresham and Eli Kerslake of Portland; father, James Kerslake of Wood Village; mother, Karen Patton of Las Vegas; brother, Andrew Kerslake of Portland; and grandparents, Rich and Dorothy Kerslake of Springdale and Chuck and Jackie Bevens of Canby.

Gresham Funeral Chapel is handling arrangements.
