Julie Ertel and Joseph Frediani were married at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, July 9, at the Academy Chapel in Vancouver, Wash.
The bride's three sons walked her down the aisle, taking turns walking by her side. Gordie Pearson officiated the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Ted and Jean Holboke of Boring. She is employed as a kindergarten teacher at North Gresham Elementary.
The groom is the son of Bill and Rachelle Anderson of Arlington, Wash.
He is employed as the director of operations for United Pipe and Supply.
Julie Poetsch, the bride's friend of Gresham, was the maid of honor. Erica Frediani, the groom's daughter of Clackamas, also attended the bride.
Tim Oberg, the groom's friend of Clackamas, was the best man. Attending the groom were the bride's sons Chris Ertel, Jake Ertel and Nick Ertel of Gresham. Greg Frediani, the groom's son of Clackamas, also attended the groom.
The newlyweds held a reception at the Academy Ballroom immediately following the ceremony. They honeymooned in the Columbia River Gorge.
Joe and Julie Frediani are making their home in Gresham.
