Information session on Stafford hamlet scheduled for Sept. 7
- Lake Oswego Review - News
Residents of the Stafford area are invited to a neighborhood meeting to provide input on forming a hamlet in the area.
'Key to this process is input from all residents, property owners and businesses within a portion of the area formerly known as the Stafford Triangle,' said Jackie Gamble, group spokesperson. The area is north of Interstate 205 bounded by Lake Oswego, Tualatin and West Linn.
The meeting is scheduled for next Thursday, Sept. 7, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Rolling Hills Community Church, 3550 S.W. Borland Road.
'We have a lot of work ahead of us,' Gamble said. 'Come meet your neighbors and share ideas at our first meeting ... Topics to be discussed include, but are not limited to, the hamlet boundary, development of bylaws, proposed activities, nominations and volunteers for board of director positions and a chance for all interested parties to sign up for the committee of their choice.'
All residents, property owners and businesses are invited to come to this first meeting to learn more information, share ideas and take the opportunity to be part of creating the Stafford Hamlet.
Clackamas County Commissioners have given the green light for residents within the area to form a hamlet.
