A watercolor in the style of Jean-Francois Millet's 'The Angelus' by local artist Kathy Delumpa Allegri will be raffled off in early November at the annual Harvest Festival weekend of St. Henry Catholic Church.

Allegri, who paints and teaches locally but wanders to Hawaii and France as well, helped unveil the painting, 'The Angelus, 2006' last weekend with Father Rick Sirianni. Allegri donated the artwork to the church for the fall festival.

Only 300 tickets at $20 each will be sold for the painting, which honors the three-times-a-day devotion that caused farmers to pause in their fields at morning, noon and evening. Raffle tickets are available any time at the parish office, 346 N.W. First St., Gresham, or after mass.

The drawing for the painting takes place Saturday night, Nov. 4, during the church's annual Harvest Festival Weekend. The events of the weekend include a Friday evening, Nov. 3, dinner dance at Lakeside Gardens, a Saturday, Nov. 4, dinner and auction with country store at the church and Sunday morning brunches on Nov. 5 following each mass.
