Joan Freed, local actress and creator of the musical comedy 'Chocolate Confessions,' will share her saga of transitioning from actuary to actress at the Lake Oswego Women's Coalition meeting and lunch, from 11:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Wednesday at Oswego Lake Country Club.

Currently appearing in 'Menopause the Musical,' the longest running production ever to appear at the Portland Center for the Performing Arts, Freed will talk about that show as well.

Cost for the lunch is $13 for members and $15 for guests. Required reservations may be made by calling the Lake Oswego Chamber, 503-636-3634; messages may be left after hours.
