With sunny skies and moderate temperatures, it was a perfect weekend for having some 'stinking' fun in North Plains.

The annual Elephant Garlic Festival, now in its 14th year, again featured three days of live music, family activities, a car show, a 10K walk/run, a parade, beer garden and, of course, lots and lots of garlic Aug.12-14.

Sure, you could pick up a hot dog, some roasted corn and a homemade pie, but there was also garlic chicken, garlic pizza, garlic kettle corn, garlic popcorn, garlic beer and, of course, garlic ice cream.
