The Portland Fall Home & Garden Show is Oct. 4 to 7

The event will feature design experts, new home products and services, vendors, 11 inspiring gardens, Home Depot workshops, designer rooms and more. The event is presented by the Professional Remodelers Organization.

“Now is a great time to improve the livability and value of your home and we are here to help,” said show manager Terry O’Loughlin. “We have hundreds of vendors, products, services and experts all in one place.

“Plus, you cannot find inspirational gardens, designer rooms or hundreds of people wanting to help you with projects on the Internet — you need to come to a real consumer show ... and enjoy yourself!”

The Portland Fall Home & Garden Show will also host the event “Serving Up Style.” The event is a table-top competition featuring 20 designer dining room environments and cutting-edge creations. HGTV star Emily Henderson from how “Secrets From a Stylist” will judge the event. Last year, more than 6,000 people voted for their favorite rooms.

Local exhibitors will also be on hand. Dual Purpose Construction of West Linn will exhibit, as will Bathroom Surface Solutions, Directors Mortgage, M & T Bank, Shelf Genie of Portland, Shutters Portland and Sit Means Sit Dog Training of Lake Oswego.

Participating landscapers include: All Natural Landscape, All Natures Construction Cornerstone Hardscapes, Hays & Associates, Southwest Landscapes, Oregon Outdoor Landscaping, Earthworks Landscape Services, Prograss Landscape Care & Design, Naturescapes and Watergardens, Design Resource Group and JP Stone Contractors.

Participating plant vendors include: Jockey Hill Nursery, N & M Herb Nursery, Northern Pacific Farm, Little Tree Nursery, French Prairie Perennials, Northwest Cedar Specialties, Woodlawn Nursery and OSU Extension Master Gardeners.

The Portland Fall Home & Garden Show will be open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 4-7.

The Expo Center is located at 2060 N. Marine Drive in Portland. The cost is $10 for adults, children 12 and younger are free.
