10/5/12 3:09 p.m. A burglar got into a house on Twin Fir Road through a window and went through several boxes of jewelry.

10/5/12 4:37 p.m. A burglary took place on Evergreen Road by a thief who entered through the garage door.


10/2/12 1:49 p.m. A truck from a glass company in Tigard smacked into a walnut tree by a residence on C Avenue and knocked off a huge branch.

10/3/12 2:24 a.m. The sound of screeching tires was followed by a big bang. The offending vehicle sped off, and it was found that $1,500 in damage had been inflicted on a struck car that was parked on Parkview Drive.


10/2/12 3:30 p.m. A backpack filled with valuables was stolen at a location on Doris Avenue. Items taken were identification, Social Security card, passport, credit and debit cards.

10/3/12 7:36 a.m. Tools were taken from a car on Jefferson Parkway. The thief gained entry by smashing in the passenger side window.

10/3/12 2:06 p.m. Two bags of clothing were stolen from a car on Meadows Road.

10/4/12 10:11 a.m. A business on Lakeview Boulevard was robbed of food stuffs and a coffeemaker with a value of $200.

10/4/12 2:55 p.m. A car parked at River West Church had a window shattered and several items stolen, including a purse with a wallet, ID, credit cards and other items.

10/4/12 4:46 p.m. A suspect in the theft of gold jewelry over the past several weeks has turned himself in at the Beaverton Police Department and also returned the stolen items.

10/5/12 8:03 a.m. The wallet of a visitor from Canada was stolen from a car parked on Country Club Road.

10/6/12 10:25 a.m. A wallet was lifted from a car parked at an apartment on Eaglecrest Drive.


10/2/12 7:56 a.m. A teller at OnPoint Credit Union became nervous when somebody starting videotaping her with his cellphone.

10/2/12 8:57 a.m. A woman driver was threatened with death after she honked at a man in the car in front of her. He then cut her off at a stop signal and got out of his car, yelled at her and said he would kill her.

10/2/12 5:33 p.m. A raccoon who is being rehabbed by a woman on Cedar Street has escaped. She says the raccoon is friendly. She would like to be notified if it is sighted.

10/2/12 9:04 p.m. A father and his 27-year-old son got into a loud verbal argument after drinking at a party.

10/2/12 10:06 p.m. An upstairs neighbor at an apartment on Laurel Street threatened a woman and also poured something on her while she was outside smoking. The neighbor apparently is bothered by the woman’s smoking.

10/3/12 7:19 a.m. The passenger window was smashed out on a car parked on Hastings Place.

10/3/12 10:58 a.m. A suspect with a history of aggressive behavior was seen painting over a handicapped parking space on Foothills Drive.

10/3/12 1:01 p.m. A brown shepherd-lab-mix dog on the loose was seen being chased by a man down Hillshire Drive. The dog, not the man, has a history of being aggressive.

10/3/12 1:36 p.m. Two tan pugs, one male and one female, suffering from respiratory distress, were taken to Lake Grove Vet Clinic. It was later found that the pugs were named Duke and Riley and that their owner was searching for them.

10/3/12 2:19 p.m. A neighbor’s dogs defecated on a woman’s lawn on View Lake Court.

10/3/12 2:58 p.m. There is a continual problem with vehicles speeding on Westview Drive, which is near a school.

10/3/12 3:30 p.m. A person who rang the doorbell of a residence on Meadows Drive several times is now sitting at the end of the driveway.

10/3/12 4:52 p.m. A solicitor began scrubbing a porch on Durham and Wilbur streets as a way to demonstrate her product. However, there was no one home at the time.

10/3/12 6:28 p.m. A man carrying peanut butter and several bags while looking at a map was regarded with suspicion on Walking Woods Drive.
