Spirit Mountain names
Pattison new president
The board of Spirit Mountain Gaming Inc. has selected Douglas P. Pattison to be the new president of Spirit Mountain Casino in Grande Ronde.
Pattison most recently was general manager of the Silver Star Hotel and Casino in Philadelphia, Miss., and previously was senior vice president and general manager of Caesar's World Sheraton Casino in Tunica, Miss.
He also has held executive positions with casinos and hotels in Atlantic City, N.J., Puerto Rico and Aruba. The Spirit Mountain Casino employs about 1,500 people.
U.S. Trust promotes
The Portland office of U.S. Trust has named April D. Sanderson a managing director and M. Wakefield 'Wake' Mack and Julie Eubanks senior vice presidents.
Sanderson had been senior vice president and manager of personal trust, private banking and sales and marketing at the New York-based wealth management firm.
Mack is in charge of marketing the company's wealth management services to foundations, endowments and affluent individuals.
Eubanks, as team leader for the institutional client services group, also specializes in marketing to foundations and endowments.

Tim Breedlove, chief financial officer of Renaissance Homes, has been promoted to chief operating officer.
Company President Randy Sebastian said the promotion stems from Breedlove's 'contributions to the company's phenomenal growth and his uncanny ability to keep daily operations in focus while keeping an eye toward the future.'
Cassel, Ridgley take key
Kaiser Foundation roles
Christine Cassel, dean and vice president for medical affairs at Oregon Health & Science University, has been appointed to the Kaiser Foundation Health Plan and Kaiser Foundation Hospitals board of directors.
Cassel, who will lead the board's quality and health improvement committee, 'has, literally, helped to write the book on 21st-century health systems,' said George Halvorson, board chairman and chief executive officer of the Kaiser group.
Cassel is slated to leave OHSU and take over as executive head of the American Board of Internal Medicine on July 1.
Robert Ridgley, a current member of the Kaiser board and retired CEO and chairman of NW Natural's board, was named chairman of two Kaiser panels: the governance and conduct of business committee, and the finance committee.
Electricity co-op elects
new chairman of board
Roger Meader has been elected chairman of the board of Portland-based PNGC Powera, a wholesale electric power cooperative with customers in six Western states.
Meader, a registered professional engineer in Washington state, is the general manager of the Okanogan County Electric Cooperative. He has been the board's secretary and treasurer.
Coordinator to bolster
group's business ties
The Hispanic Metropolitan Chamber, a business advocacy group, has hired Paulina Morgali as its business development coordinator.
Morgali will consult with Latino business owners and others in the business community. She has worked in the private and public sectors here and in Chile, her native country.
