Gilbert Meadows hosts grand opening

Garrette Custom Homes’ newest neighborhood in Oregon City, Gilbert Meadows, will have its grand opening Dec. 2 at noon. Gilbert Meadows has five home sites. Each home site is at least three-quarters of an acre.

The neighborhood is located minutes from Interstate 205 off Holcomb Boulevard and features expansive territorial views to the north and west.

The homes will feature three to four bedrooms. Some plans will have three-car garages and single-level living and two of the homes will feature a master bedroom on the main floor.

All homes will feature Pacific Lifestyle’s luxury amenity finishes package, which includes granite tile kitchen counters, tile counte rtops in the bathrooms, extended hardwood floors and custom millwork.

Attend a Clackamas County Master Gardener meeting

The Clackamas County Master Gardeners will host Rebecca Ives on Dec. 10 from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Milwaukie Center. Ives graduated with a degree in horticulture and landscape design and maintenance.

Recycle your old electronics

Green Century, an R2 certified electronics recycling company, will host a free waste recycling event at Lake Oswego High School on Jan. 5 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Green Century will accept the following material free from charge: computers, laptops, monitors (CRT, LCD), printers, scanners, fax machines, copiers, ink cartridges, keyboards, mice, servers, routers, hubs, networking devices, televisions, cellphones, stereo equipment, cameras, telephones, washers, dryers, ovens, stoves, media players and miscellaneous office machines and electronics.
