Take a minute to vote for your favorite sweet creation

The third annual Lake Oswego Gingerbread House Competition begins Dec. 10, with local business owners and staff showing their skills in creating one-of-a-kind gingerbread houses to display in their stores.

• Oswego Optique, 466 Second St.

• Peake Academy at Play Boutique, 464 First St.

Jamie Inglis, event specialist with the city of Lake Oswego, said a tour map will be available at participating businesses and the parks and recreation office.

“People are encouraged to pick up a tour map, visit all the homes and vote for their favorite,” said Inglis. “The winner of the competition receives a brilliant trophy and bragging rights for the whole year!”

The competition ends Dec. 25.
