The MAC Bash held on Oct. 19, raised $12,000 for the Madras Aquatic Center Recreation District.
The MAC Bash is an event hosted by the MAC Trust to honor the MAC Trust's generous donors and supporters.
This year's event featured live music by George Klos, and a dessert auction and catering by Great Earth. Guest speakers at the event featured Dr. Jarold Ramsey, Carolyn Harvey, MAC operations manager and Beth Ann Beamer, MAC Trust board member.
The MAC Bash is the signature event for the MAC Trust and its "First 100" fundraising campaign. More than 70 people attended this year's MAC Bash. All proceeds from the event directly benefit the Madras Aquatic Center's aquatic and recreation programming.
The MAC Trust is a 501(c)3 organization established to support the MAC Recreation District and its programming. The trust collaborates with the MAC board to help meet financial needs, including a current $75,000 deficit for the district.
The trust is actively working to raise more funds in support of the MAC. If individuals would like to make tax-deductible donations, they can send them to the Madras Aquatic Center at 1195 S.E. Kemper Way or make a donation online at
