Forest Grove city workers will dedicate a piece of the World Trade Center

Next Tuesday, area residents will have a chance to witness the dedication of a piece of the fallen World Trade Center towers.

The event, called 'Thankful for Public Safety Workers,' was organized by the Forest Grove Library, the Forest Grove Police Department and Forest Grove Fire and Rescue. It will be held at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 22 in the Rogers Room of the Forest Grove Library. Refreshments will follow the event.

A special video will be on display and author Willy Johnston and a Boy Scout honor guard will participate.
