David Douglas pulled off one of the biggest upsets in recent Oregon high school football history on Friday, knocking off No. 1 seed and third-ranked West Linn 17-14 in dramatic fashion. Kevin Hurley pulled in a 6-yard touchdown pass with 0:14 on the clock, giving the Scots just their fourth win and ending the year for the Three Rivers runner-up Lions.

Despite being overwhelming underdogs, David Douglas never looked intimidated and matched the Lions all night long.

West Linn got on the board with 3:!4 to play in the first quarter on a 3-yard touchdown run by Mason Finnerty. David Douglas answered with one of its better drives of the night, methodically moving into scoring range and cashing in on a 35-yard field goal by Cody Patterson....
