Caroll Ann Markovich, a resident of Boring, died Monday, Dec. 5, at her home. She was 64.

A celebration of her life was held Saturday, Dec. 10, at Sandy Funeral Home. A private cremation was held.

Caroll was born Nov. 16, 1947, in Havelock, N.C., to Lewis and Rose (Glanz) Kasch.

On May 18, 1968, she married Dennis Markovich in Portland.

Survivors include her husband; sons, Mark and Tom Markovich, both of Bend; and brother, Greg Kasch from the Oregon Coast.

Blake Warner

Sept. 4, 1986-Dec. 2, 2011

Sandy resident Blake Warner, 25, died Friday, Dec. 2.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, at Abundant Life Church, 17241 S.E. Hemrick Road, Damascus.

Blake was born Sept. 4, 1986, in Portland to Shaun and Susan Warner. He was raised in Sandy and graduated from Sandy High School in 2005.

Blake worked in construction, both as a welder and pouring concrete alongside his father. He enjoyed playing on anything with a motor: fast cars, snowmobiles and quads.

As a child, Blake was curious, always wanting to know how things worked and asking questions. As the youngest of three children, family was important to him; he was always there for his older sisters.

Survivors include his parents of Sandy; sisters, Jamie Lang of Portland and Robyn Powell of Sandy; grandparents, Kathleen Warner and Loretta Smith of Portland; and a niece and nephew.

Arlie Quincy Davis

May 4, 1921-Dec. 5, 2011

Arlie Quincy Davis, a former resident of Boring, died Monday, Dec. 5, in Gresham. He was 90.

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 22, at Sandy Baptist Church, 34435 S.E. Jarl Road, Boring.

Arlie was born May 4, 1921, in Burlington to Earl and Dora Davis. Arlie was raised in Gresham and attended Orient Grade School.

On July 2, 1944, he married Betty Jean Jackson in Orient.

Arlie was an optician. He resided in Boring before moving to Corbett for retirement. He attended Haley Baptist Church (now Sandy Baptist Church). He enjoyed growing rhododendrons, camping with his family, rock hunting and collecting coins.

Survivors include his wife; son, Dan Davis of Lebanon; daughters, Diana Brooks of Boring and Debra Makin of Corbett; sisters, Dorothy Klettke of Portland and Donna Parsons of California; 11 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

Ardella Mae Lehr

May 2, 1932-Dec. 7, 2011

Former Sandy resident Ardella Mae Lehr died Wednesday, Dec. 7, at her home in Albany. She was 79.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, at Buena Vista Community Church, 11355 Church St., Independence.

Ardella was born May 2, 1932, in Bismarck, N.D., to Bert and Margaret (Rank) Jackson.

On Nov. 24, 1948, she married Charles Henry Lehr in Gresham.

Ardella worked as an office manager in a medical office.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Leonard Jackson, Marshall Jackson, Virgil Jackson, Lester Jackson, Carol Jackson and Boyd Jackson; and sisters, Vida Arnkiel and Marvel Jackson.

Survivors include her sons, Victor Lehr of Sandy and Carlin Lehr of Sandy; brother, Donald Jackson of Sandy; sister, Fae Alyea of Sandy; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations can be made to Samaritan Evergreen Hospice, 1046 Sixth Ave. S.W., Albany, 97231.
