a Thelma Allen, a Yakima, Wash., resident, passed away on Saturday, April 7, 2007 in Yakima.
She was 90 years old.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2007 at 10 a.m. at Juniper Haven Cemetery in Prineville, Ore.
Lola was born in Three Brothers, Ark., on Easter Day, April 24, 1916, to George and Jeanette Deatherage. She attended schools in Arkansas.
On Feb. 6, 1940 in Missouri she married Riley D. Allen.
Lola enjoyed spending time with her family. She also loved crocheting and growing tomatoes.
Lola is survived by: son Dr. Riley L. and his wife Becky Allen of Prineville, Ore.; daughter Kay and her husband Pete Briles of Selah, Wash.; three grandchildren, Darcie and her husband Mike Hanratty of Selah, Wash., Lara and her husband Scott Polen of Prineville, Ore., and Kelley St. Aubin of Selah, Wash.; nine great-grandchildren, Trent Allen, Courtney Allen, Justin St. Aubin, Cheyenne St. Aubin, Hunter Hanratty, Hollie Hanratty, Reece Polen, Jackson Polen, and Quinn Riley Polen.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband Riley Allen, and by one grandson, Todd Allen, and numerous brothers and sisters.
