ce "Fern" Freeman died Nov. 24, 2001. She was 66 years old.
She was born May 15, 1935 in McAlester, Okla. She attended school in McAlester and moved to California where she married Tom Freeman in Porterville in 1955. They moved to Joseph in 1972 and to Prineville from California in 1992.
She was a homemaker most of her life. Her interests included reading, watching television, collecting Indian artifacts, cooking, and spending time with family.
Survivors include her husband Tom of Terrebonne; daughters, Glenda and Cliff Kiser, Marlis and Gordon Arant of Prineville, Melissa and Paul Worthington of Fort Rock; son, Wayne Freeman of Terrebonne; sister, Phyllis Partridge of Sapulpa, Okla.; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one daughter.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Fri. Nov. 30 at Whispering Pines Chapel with Pastor Joel Dunaway officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made in her name to Calvary Baptist Church, 2241 N. Main St., in Prineville.
