in Jane Cox (Dybvig) passed away from cancer on July 14, 2006. Robin was born on June 24, 1962 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Robin lived in Tillamook from 1970 to 1979. She earned her GED from Clackamas Community College. She later earned her degree in cosmetology from Edward Wadsworth School of Beauty. She practiced as a hair colorist for a number of years before she met Dennis Cox from Prineville. They married in 1995 when she moved to Prineville. She soon found her niche as a medical scheduler for the Prineville Clinic, the center for Neurosurgery and Orthopedics and at Central Oregon Radiology Associates, in Bend. She was well loved and respected by her coworkers and the doctors she worked with on a daily basis. As her life waned, her reflections of family, friends and associates were of love and affection. Her interests included family, camping, RVing, and experiencing the great outdoors. Her favorite places were Depoe Bay on the Oregon coast and the Blue Mountains of eastern Oregon that she fondly referred to as the bird woods. She enjoyed shooting shotguns and was a very good shot. Robin is survived by: her husband Dennis; daughters, Amy Gilbert and Sara Gilbert; father Melvin Dybvig; brother Jim Dybvig; sisters Kristi Svendsen, Julie Lowther, Paula Mills and Lynn Metzger. Her grandson Kainoa Ing was the joy of her life. She was the treasured aunt to nine and great-aunt to 10. Robin was a true friend to many people. A memorial for Robin will take place July 24 at 3 p.m. at the Bend LaPine Hospice House in Bend, Oregon. At her request, memorials may be made to Hospice of Bend.
