A part of Evergreen Road north of Highway 214 will be closed to through traffic for three days starting Monday at 6 a.m. and will reopen at the same time Oct. 3.

The closure is required to construct the connection between the existing roadway and a new section of Evergreen Road as part of the Woodburn Interchange Project, according to Oregon Department of Transportation.

During the closure, motorists will be detoured using Oregon Way, Country Club Road, Country Club Court., and North Access Road. The closure does not affect the segment of Evergreen Road south of Highway 214.

Access to all businesses will remain open during the road closure. Motorists should follow the detour signs and look for the blue “business access” cones to reach businesses in the closure area.
