Little Feat, Taj Mahal and Curtis Salgado will hit the Waterfront Park stage
It's still a little cold, but the lineup for the 2010 Safeway Waterfront Blues Festival is just heating up.
The Oregon Food Bank, organizers of the four-day festival in Tom McCall Waterfront Park, said this year's event would feature Taj Mahal, Little Feat, John Mayall, Booker T., Bobby Rush, Commander Cody and his Lost Planet Airmen, Curtis Salgado, Trombone Shorty and Orleans Avenue and Norton Buffalo's Knockouts.
The 23rd annual festival is from Friday, July 2, to Monday, July 5. It is the largest blues festival west of the Mississippi and the second-largest one in the nation.
It's also a fundraiser for the Oregon Food Bank, which provides food and donations to groups across the state.
Daily entry for this year's festival is $10 plus two cans of food per person. Beginning in May, the festival also will offer four passes with special perks and access: Individual Sponsor, Blues Benefactor, Four-Day Festival Pass and Blues Buddy Pass.
