Denmark's temporary loss is our gain
by: ©2008 JASON QUIGLEY, More than ever, a local performance by Horse Feathers is a treat, and a new record in the offing sweetens the deal.

With multi-instrumentalist Peter Broderick now residing part time in Copenhagen, Denmark, tonight's back-to-back shows are a rare opportunity to catch the graceful chamber-folk of Horse Feathers.

The band has been taking advantage of Broderick's holiday homecoming to put the finishing touches on its second album.

Formerly a duo (Broderick and Justin Ringle), the lineup has expanded to include cellist and vocalist Heather Broderick, and hometown shows typically find the band fleshed out further by a variety of friends.

Riding high on the holidays and looking forward to a new year and a new record, Horse Feathers should not be missed.
