Next: The LumberJax play host to Colorado at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the Rose Garden.

The Mammoth lead the National Lacrosse League West Division at 6-3, followed by San Jose (5-4), Calgary (4-7), Portland (3-7) and Edmonton (2-6). The top four teams will make the NLL playoffs.

'It's a big game for us; we're in a battle now,' coach Derek Keenan says of Thursday. 'It's a dogfight, and we have to start getting some wins.'

• The Jax play San Jose on April 5, April 6 and April 18, three times in their last five games. The other two games, April 11 vs. Philadelphia and April 26 at Buffalo, are against East teams.

• Dan Dawson, who leads Portland with 20 goals and 26 assists, scored twice in Sunday's NLL All-Star Game. The East won, 17-16.

• Scott Stewart missed the previous game against Calgary with a back injury.

• Dallas Eliuk replaced starter Matt King in goal in the Calgary game. 'We're still looking for some consistency there,' Keenan says.
