Softball: Tigard moves to 3-0-1 with its 4-3 victory over Gresham

TIGARD - The Tigard High School softball team continued its early-season strong play, scoring a come-from-behind 4-3 win over Gresham in a non-league game played Tuesday at Tigard High School.

With the win, the Tigers improved to 3-0-1 on the season.

Gresham, scoring a pair of runs in the top of the sixth inning, took a 3-1 lead in the contest. But the Tigers answered back with three runs of their own bottom of the frame to get the one-run win.

Pizer went 3-for-3 at the plate in the win with a double and the home run. Sophomore Katie Aden had two hits and sophomore Chelsea Biglow had a hit and an RBI.

Junior Ashley Suter picked up the pitching win, striking out 12.
