Armed man took $400 from Tualatin Burger King

TUALATIN - Tualatin police are looking for information on an armed robbery that occurred Monday night at the Burger King on McEwan Road.

At about 10:52 p.m., police responded to a hold-up alarm at the restaurant. An employee told police that a masked man armed with a handgun robbed her at gun point and took about $400.

The suspect was described as a man, 5-foot-6 and very thin, dressed in black pants, a blue hoodie sweatshirt and a blue bandana over his face.

The victim said that because of the bandana she was not able to provide any information on the suspect's race or possible age.

A Beaverton police canine officer responded to assist Tualatin police but was not able to locate the suspect through tracking.

Tualatin police are asking anyone with information on the crime to call the department tip line, 503-691-4813.
