Matt Tipton, who oversaw construction of Sundeleaf Plaza Park for the city of Lake Oswego, looks over the work in the final days of the park's construction. Officials hope to open the park at the end of this week; if delayed, it will still be open by the end of the month, they say. The park, on State Street, is named after the prominent Lake Oswego architect Richard Sundeleaf. It is anchored by one of Sundeleaf's works: the soon-to-be-remodeled Lake Twin Cinema. The Lake Oswego Redevelopment Agency built the park in hopes of putting the 'lake' back in Lake Oswego by opening views of Lakewood Bay. Eventually, it will likely connect with Millennium Plaza Park to the north.
