About 70 people gathered last Thursday night on the Pacific University campus to take part in Forest Grove's first Take Back the Night march and rally. The event, organized by Lesley Bart of the school's Center for Women and Gender Equity, was aimed at protesting violence against women and sexual minorities. As part of the events, Kristan Knapp (top photo), from the Bradley Angle House, a domestic violence center, received a check from the gender equity center. The money was raised from a production of 'The Vagina Monologues' last month.
