OREGON CITY - The Oregon City alumni football team which will do battle with cross-river rival West Linn in an Aug. 13 game to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, has begun practices.

Former Oregon City coach Ed Burton is assisting in coaching the team.

The game is now open to all Oregon City High School and West Linn High School alumni. Originally only alumni 30-and-over were invited, but eligibility has been extended to any alumni in order to fill out the rosters.

Among former Oregon City players who have signed up to take part are: Steven Scott, Thad Rogers, Jason Leiby, Keli'l Lycett, Tim McCullaugh, Damond Braker, Larry Vandervort, James Rogers, Jered Shaw, Ken Williams, Brandon Hubbard, Russell Snyder, Wade Sparks, Brent Herren, Dan Rodriquez and Jeremy Ritter.

The game is set for West Linn High School at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 13.
