Portland police have released a sketch of a man who attempted to abduct a Lewis and Clark College student on campus around noon Monday.

A man wearing a black trench coat, a black fedora hat and a gray scarf over his face forced the woman into a secluded wooded area behind the college. When the suspect slipped and fell, the woman was able to break free and hide in the woods.

The suspect left in an unknown direction.

He was described as a white male, 40 to 45 years old, about 6 to 6 foot 2 inches tall, with a medium build, wearing a black trench coat, black hat and a gray scarf over his face.
