HomeWell Senior Care, serving Clackamas County, became fully licensed by the state of Oregon this year as an in-home care agency and is accepting clients.

HomeWell provides live-in and hourly personal care, companionship and homemaker services for seniors so they can remain in the comfort of their own homes. Oak Grove resident Tim Spaulding serves as the owner/president of HomeWell Senior Care. His wife and co-owner, Kim Spaulding, says what makes HomeWell special is its compassionate service and coordination of care with other providers.

“We also require 1,000 hours of training for our personal assistants — we don’t call them caregivers — and a lot of our competitors don’t require that level of training,” she said. “We’ve interviewed some of the folks who are working for the competition and discovered that.”

HomeWell also provides professional nonmedical in-home care for adults in injury rehabilitation or who are coping with disabilities. The company also provides companion care, bathing, transportation, personal care, medicine reminders, dressing assistance and activities.

The parent organization was founded in 1996. HomeWell can be reached at 503-344-6044, by email at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., and the website is
