Parents have the biggest influence on a child’s learning and motivation. To help parents leverage that opportunity for the greatest possible benefit, the North Clackamas School District will provide a four-session “Parent Power” class in April.

Offered in both English and Spanish, the class is open to parents from any school.

“We hope parents will take advantage of these opportunities to build the skills and understanding that will improve family communication, boost academic support for kids, and give parents effective discipline strategies,” said district spokeswoman Leslie Robinette.
