Oregon City Community Schools are serving free lunches to anyone 18 and younger at three sites. Lunches also will be served to adults for $3. The meals will be served in the cafeterias at each site Monday through Friday until Aug. 23.

No meals will be served the week of July 1 through July 5; service will begin again on Monday, July 8.

Lunch hours at Eastham Community Center, 1404 Seventh St., are noon to 1 p.m. A free breakfast for children age 18 and younger also is offered served at this site only from 8 to 9 a.m. Adult breakfasts are $1.50.

Lunch hours are 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the other two sites, Gardiner Middle School, 80 Ethel Street, and Holcomb Elementary School, 14625 Holcomb Blvd.

In addition, children’s activities will be available at each site, said Amy DeSimone, program coordinator.

“What is unique about our program is that all our meals are hot meals made from scratch using local farm produce,” she said.
