The Export Council of Oregon, an official U.S. District Export Council, presented the Clackamas County business and economic development team with an achievement certificate for its leadership and innovation in organizing the Clackamas County Export Initiative and hosting a training program that has benefited local companies.

CTF Enterprises, an Oregon City company that participated in the county’s program and has seen an increase in export sales, also was recognized.

“ECO commends Clackamas Business and Economic Development on its continued leadership role that serves as a model for communities seeking to grow their business communities through sales to international markets,” said Paul Taylor, chairman of the export council.

ECO was established in 1973 to provide a variety of export-oriented services to businesses.

“We are honored to receive this award and are excited to continue to work to connect our local businesses to resources such as the ECO to assist in increasing their export activity,” said Catherine Comer, manager, Clackamas County business and economic development.
